The Founder

Lisa Laird was born and raised in the New Orleans, La. After Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, she was forced to find a new profession in a rebuilding city. In 2006, she got her health and life insurance license as a commission only sales representative. The new career would require direct soliciting in the field to put group employee benefits in place. In 5 years, she grew her book of business over 100 groups, others took noticed and asked to learn her methods.

For the last 10 years, she has been training others to do sales in the field and teaching seminars on her own creative techniques in cold calling, building referrals, and growing networking opportunities.

 

The Name

Nola Persistence name is created by the love for her city and a compliment. Nola is nicknamed for New Orleans, La. Then, a large company decision maker she followed up with for many years finally agreed to meet with her. He said, "You are the most persistent sales rep I have ever met; I would like to offer you a job!"
